I can quite frankly say that one of the most 'fun events and "tasty" in the design week in Milan was to Veuve Clicquot.
One of the few events that forced me to take refuge in the late evening in a restaurant or pizzeria!
The choice of location is a small but very nice local De Light, Via Ponte Vetero 13, who for the occasion she had turned into temporary Clicq-Nic designstore. I promised myself that just as soon as I find a soul mate will be the first place I want to return.
arriving at 19:20 the place is already in full swing. The yellow of Veuve Clicquot puts me in a good mood even if it's raining outside! The exhibition was curated by Cristina Morozzi, Ilaria Marelli in collaboration with the Living company that has provided the Family Chair, chairs amplified optical effect.
I am meeting some friends but there are so many nice people, it may be also the fact that drinking a flute of champagne always puts some joy.
As I always wander to look but I can not look away from the entrée presented in a "tasty".
Fried sardines in the tin box are the most striking example.
Not to mention the basket with sandwiches, souffle with salmon, it formaggio Brie Cream President. I had the impression of participating in a picnic.
I had the pleasure to know the designers who created the Sylvia Pichler Clicq-Nic Bag, made by the brand Zilla, capable of holding a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label from 0,375 cl, 2 e flutes 2 raffinate finger food box.
The Clicq-Nic designstore featured 3 areas: Take away the corner dedicated to buy and taste the contents of Clicq-Nic Bag by Veuve Clicquot.
the Eat & Drink Space, a Champagnerie to taste, at the counter or at the table, flutes di Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.
The Clicq-Nic Designboutique space dedicated to the display and sale of selected design accessories ideal for organizing exclusive picnic and original Accessories for Champagne della Maison.
But the surprises you granted by Maison are not finished, indeed, the evening saw featuring the Presentation, in anteprima, the Ponsardine by Veuve Clicquot, a new coffret unusually shaped a box for sardines which holds a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.
Why this choice? It has a very funny story. Everything revolves around the name and the word game built around the name of Madame Clicquot's maiden. Il padre di Nicole Barbe Ponsardin, Nicolas, when he was appointed Baron of the Empire by Napoleon I, It is also honored with a coat of arms. Nicolas Ponsardin plays with satire on its name, choosing a coat of arms illustrating a bridge - pont in French – sotto a sardine: PON(t)sARDINES(and).
The coat of arms depicting a carved wall, a golden sardine, one put with 3 arches symbolizing the 3 Children of Nicolas Ponsardin, and under a river bridge, heraldic symbol representing a river of Champagne.
interesting real? To me this thing has had a great. Then the new coffret I find the youth and also convenient to carry with you.
