As part of the cultural activities related to the celebration of 'International Year of the Light proclaimed by UNESCO for 2015, Lights Shadows presents – for the first time in Rome – RGB Outdoor Light Festival, lighting project artistic urban born from the desire to experience a new feeling for research and culture of light through installations by artists and designers conceived for the urban space.
The 27 and the 28 March 2015, the festival RGB welcome in some historic districts of Rome the art installations, performances and interventions of urban design made for the occasion and free from visible 19.00 on. Through a path of about 4 Km: from the pedestrian Pigneto, one of the most vibrant cultural scene Roman, through Via della Marranella to Park Sangalli, the festival will lead his audience on a walk light to discover even those streets and alleys little known and frequented.
The site-specific works that will guide this unprecedented tour will be carried out by an international parterre of artists and designers, including: Artisti§Innocenti, Group stock, Gleeful Piacentino, Dielab, Davino Daniele and Daniele Spanò, Studio Aira,Miriam Abutori, Pasquale Mari (Teatro Stabile di Torino), Magombra, Gina Balla, Operating Margin and Manuel De Carli, Simone Palma, Marco Amedani, Fort Lawrence, Matthew Boscarato, Mastrangelo&Papageorgiou, My fear is white, Q2Visual, Andrea Leghissa, Leonardo Zaccone, Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Bauder / Bevilacqua, Gabriela Prochakza, Luca Ercoli, Lupercales BNC, Simone Palma, Stalker, Open Lab Company and by the students of the course "Introduction to Digital Direction" and "Video-Mapping Digital Image Processing" of the Faculty of Arts, University La Sapienza Rome treated by Prof. Luca Ruzza.
