During the ten years since the death of Giacinto Cerone (1957–2004), MACRO celebrates one of the main protagonists of the second century Italian, with the exhibition The maximum horizontal, dedicated to the production of works on paper, edited by Benedetta Carpi De Resmini. The exhibition incorporates a selection of over thirty designs, many of them unpublished, from public and private collections.

The MACRO welcomes, first, an important collection of works of geometric abstraction from a large international museum, presenting an exhibition that includes a selection of fifty works of geometric abstraction created by artists and members of the prestigious collection of the MACBA – Museo d'arte contemporanea di Buenos Aires.
