Judith Usual “Mouth”

Thursday 12 February at 19 is inaugurated in Lecco, Granaries in alley 12, “Mouth"Solo show Judith Usual, third leg after exposures of Palermo and Milan. The eclectic artist, born in Taranto, lives and works in Milan.
Mouth, female, fleshy, voluttuosa, from red lips. This is the theme that is celebrated in the exhibition Lecco also through the exhibition of new works. Mouth, not only as a body that provides food intake, nourishment for the body, but as the protagonist of taste experiences, plausible or imagined, made of different flavors and textures, new, unknown, unlikely.
Plate and in the glass tradition, the culture of a people, of a nation. From the mouth passes therefore also food for thought. Here it is then in its highest function or tool to gather information to be conveyed to our brain to be recognized, stored, cataloged, compared.
And finally the mouth, open or ajar, intent to scream or whisper, anyhow, communicates, sends a message that reaches the viewer in a direct, in its total clarity and authenticity. The exhibition will end on 1 March.
