Pitti Generation(s) It is the guiding theme of the salons, from 12 to the 15 January 2016, talk about the simultaneity of many different generations and styles in fashion today. The speed of contemporary compresses and mixes the personal time and generational, between nostalgic reflection and experimentation, in a global overcoming of borders.
With a set design by Oliviero Baldini, Fortezza da Basso will welcome visitors between installations and surprising incursions, between art and performance, that will transform the ground of the square in front of the Central Pavilion, the facade of the Lyceum and other key locations of the Fortress, for an unprecedented generational representation. The collaboration between Pitti Immagine and talented directors to realize the digital art project that launches the theme of salons. The new video plays Pitti Generation(s) through the technique of morphing, alternating and overlapping the faces of characters belonging to the international fashion system. The protagonists: Sam Lambert e Shaka Maidoh, il duo creativo di Art Comes First; designers Federico Curradi and Vittorio Branchizio, Pitti Italics the next edition of Pitti Uomo; the fashion consultant Simonetta Gianfelici; Matteo Gioli, designer and founder of SuperDuper Hats; the fashion editor of Japanese Senken Shimbun, Takuro Ogasawara; the famosa Pr Nathalie Ours, PR Consulting founder di Paris; il patron del cult brand Stone Island Carlo Rivetti e la fashion editor e influencer Ucraina Daria Shapovalova.
Directed and photography Pasquale Abbattista, the production of Hi!Production and supervision of Max Brun, the new video project is also linked to an important charity project: the remuneration of the stars of the video will be donated Meyer Paediatric Hospital in Florence and ASP Montedomini, two Florentine institutions dealing with care of children and the elderly, respectively.
