Forum of Augustus. 2000 years after

A journey through history will kick off the 22 April thanks to the project "Forum of Augustus. 2000 years after"Promosso Roma Capitale, Office of the Mayor, Department of Culture, Creativity and Artistic Promotion - Superintendence of Cultural Heritage Capitolina and produced by Zètema Culture Project with the design and care of Piero Angela and Paco Lanciano with the historic collaboration of Gaetano Capasso.

Thanks to special audio systems with headphones viewers will be able to listen to music, the special effects and the story of Piero Angela 6 languages (Italian, English, French, Russian, Spanish and Japanese).
Using the latest technology, The project will illustrate in a timely manner the archaeological site located along Via dei Fori Imperiali street and adjacent to Alexandria starting from stones, fragments and columns. Viewers will be accompanied by the voice of Piero Angela and magnificent footage and reconstructions that show the places as they appeared at the time of Augustus: a representation of the exciting and at the same time full of great information from historical and scientific rigor.
The stands designed to accommodate the public and the technical equipment required (lights, projectors, computer ecc.) were made, in agreement with the Superintendent Capitolina, with the aim to minimize the visual impact of the archaeological. Arranged in two parallel rows, the stands are contained entirely from the sidewalk of Via Alexandrina and composed 7 modules interrupted by a double flight of stairs to a total height of approximately 2,60 meters plus high parapet 1 metro.
“Forum of Augustus. 2000 years after"Is a project that is part of the celebrations for the two thousandth anniversary of the death of Augustus (19 August 14 d.C.) and in a broader speech enhancement dei Fori Imperiali realized with the contribution of the Banks Treasurer City of Rome: BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, UniCredit and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena. The investment will support itself, thanks to the proceeds of the ticket and has not requested any economic intervention by the administration.
