Thousands of people gathered in the beautiful Piazza San Marco, Venice, to take part all'Aperol Spritz! Happy Record! and establish a new Guinness World Record World Record (Guinness World Records TM) for the largest Aperol Spritz Party World. 2.657 people attended the event, sipping Aperol Spritz, to go down in history with a single, great toast.
The challenge for the record was overseen by Guinness World Records TM and by a team of local judges. The achievement of the new world record was officially announced by Guinness World Records TM pm 19.45.
All participants, wearing their T-shirt Orange, crowded Piazza San Marco, arranging to draw a large glass of Aperol Spritz Aperol Spritz during the biggest party in the world.
Lorenzo Veltri, Judge world record, he has declared "See so many people together to set a new Guinness World Records record TM Aperol Spritz was really fantastic. Set a new Guinness World Record of World Records is always an exciting event, a unique experience.”
The festivities have seen great participation from all over the country with the 52% of Italian and 48% of participants from abroad, which together they have created a great party full of Aperol Spritz.
