It took place at Edmund Mach Foundation the first review, nationwide, of wines “resistant” or wines produced with at least 95 percent of grapes from PIWI varieties (Fungus resistant).
There was great support from the Italian wine world as confirmed by the data from the participating labels: 95 wines in competition 53 companies today carefully evaluated by a commission made up of qualified experts. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 2 December as part of a scientific seminar attended by illustrious experts in the sector as well as the president of the International Vine and Wine Organization (HIV), prof. Luigi Moio.

The experts, selected from winemakers, winemakers, giornalisti, sommeliers and researchers relating to the agri-food world, during all day today they assigned a score but also descriptive parameters to the wines present in each of the five categories provided: rossi, whites, Orange, sparkling, sparkling wines.
