The Temperley London Pre Fall 2014 collection is focused yet diverse offering a large selection of designer day wear and tailoring alongside the beautiful evening wear the brand is known for. The collection showcases a slimmer, more body con silhouette that is subtly sexy with a vamped up attitude.
With the majority of fabrics being sourced developed and produced in UK and Europe; with Italian tailoring, jacquard from Como, delicate embroidery and signature French laces, the texture combinations and quality of finish is evident.
The Callas jacquard was developed in Italy from a treasured swatch Alice has kept from the age of 13, creating structured silhouettes and bold shapes that build drama in the collection. The Catroux story has been created using ribbon stitching inspired by Art Deco wrought iron Parisian
Gates that flatteringly traces curves of the feminine figure. Embellishment appears on evening styles such as the Long Cambon dress, a favourite of Alice’s, combining ruffled tulle, crystal embroidery and organza appliqué stripes.
The collection plays on transparency and revealing elements mixed with intricate satin stitch embroidery. Knit wear appears at an entry price of £495 offering classic fit and flare shapes and slimming silhouettes. Graphic rose prints inspired by stained glass appear on jacquard and new padded fabrics, and bold geometric floral print on hammered silks add depth with a colour palette of olive, slate grey and aubergine.
The hand painted Miri print is digitally engineered onto double satin and adds a flash of colour against the rich tones.
The collection is a true insight to Autumn Winter 2014 with a selection of evening separates, a new attitude, slimmer silhouettes and designer day wear in Temperley London. Prices starts at £495 with all long evening wear under £2,000. The Pre Fall collection will be in stores and online from May 2014.
