L’incantevole Villa La Vedetta, cornice dell’evento, si è trasformata in un laboratorio delle arti: painting, photography, video, moda, music, performances and installations.
L’evento, nato nel 2005, returned to Florence for the eighth consecutive year and sees again the collaboration with the Municipality of Florence which has followed all the steps of the event since its inception, and it is in homage to the new cultural breath that now animates the City, Ellequadro Events proposes that the project in this expanded role and expanded over time.
The event provides for the allocation of ARTOUR-O Silver, awards for Client that is structural and physiological the country still. ARTOUR-O also has the GAT – Award Young Artists Talent in Tuscany, edited by Andrea Crabs and Matteo Innocenti – and in collaboration with Busta – the innovative monthly report format dedicated to new ideas, the new languages, the styles and sounds of the contemporary scene – an eponymous prize open to all participants.
The sections of MUST:
Artour-O Interior – shows a period of four days during which presents the art projects and design of the fitted participants inside the rooms of Villa La Vedetta.
Artour-O in the Park – exhibition running until July. Sculptures and installations form an artistic path that winds through the garden surrounding Villa La Vedetta.
Artour-O at the table – the selected artists exhibit work inspired by their relationship with food that combine a recipe. The chef of the Villa, Santo Stefano, then prepare a tasting menu is offered during the event that in the course of dinners organized throughout the year with artists, personalities from the world of business and industry and journalists.
Artour-O Path in the City – during the four-day event is set up in the city a journey punctuated by works of contemporary art, inserted in historical contexts, that touches the most fascinating and exclusive: museums and academies, Florentine palaces of the aristocracy and entrepreneurship, some of which are only open for the occasion.
Included in this section, among others, Grand Hotel Minerva houses the exhibition special project "Presence" by Nicola Davide Angerame in collaboration with WhiteLabs & Kips project NY, The location is also the starting point for the "Walk Show" by Urban Experience and the Tornabuoni gallery which houses the exhibition "The music of the night" by Giorgio Faletti.
